SensAbility – the Social Enterprise Conference

March the 18th/19th, 2016

“Socialpreneurs – leading the journey of change” – This topic will be discussed at the 7th SensAbility conference (March the 18th/19th, 2016) at the campus of WHU–Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar near Koblenz. SensAbility aims to unite ambitious students and young professionals from various backgrounds with social entrepreneurs in order to stimulate social business.

Acting social combined with successful  economic activity is not mutually exclusive! In order to solve ecological or societal problems effectively on the long-­term, social enterprises have to participate in common markets and finance themselves.

During our two-‐day conference filled with fascinating speeches, exciting discussions and interactive workshops you will get the chance to draw inspirations from the world’s leading social entrepreneurs: Among others we expect Florian Hoffmann, Director and Founder of the DO School. Additionally, our highly appreciated crash courses, in which experts from the scene provide you with necessary tools and some useful know-­‐ how on becoming a successful founder, will take place on the first day of our conference. Based on this a large variety of project-related workshops will give you the opportunity to work on real social business cases, connect with other  and become active  beyond the conference. That is what SensAbility is all about: getting inspired, developing and exchanging ideas in order to start or promote a social business.

Please note that the attendance fee, including participation in the conference, food (incl. dinner), accommodation at student apartments as well as an exclusive conference-­‐ package, amounts to €40/€60 for students and professionals respectively.
